St. George’s Episcopal Church

Description:

Our official “home base” since 2025, we rehearse here weekly in the Parish Hall.  With ample, well-lit, secure parking behind the church, the Parish Hall is fully accessible, with a lift for those with mobility limitations.

A small but beautiful sanctuary with lovely acoustics for choral music. This venue cannot hold the full GCA chorus or our standard audience. But, for our inaugural chamber choir concert in 2014, this space was a perfect fit!

Driving Directions:

From I75: Take exit 205 and turn towards Griffin.  Follow SR16 (becomes Taylor Street) through the downtown area.  Turn right on North 10th Street.  St. George’s Episcopal Church is located on the right side, at the corner of 10th and Broad St.

From the 19/41 Expressway:Take the SR16 exit and turn towards Griffin. Follow SR16 (becomes Taylor Street) towards the downtown area.    Turn left on North 10th Street.  St. George’s Episcopal Church is located on the right side, at the corner of 10th and Broad St.

Parking:

There is some parking along 10th Street. A new lot behind the church (completed in the fall of 2014) provides ample parking and covered access to the lower levels of the church.  Limited handicap parking in the front of the church is clearly marked and there is a wheelchair accessible ramp into the facility near the church offices.
