| Spivey Hall Concert 2012 |

On Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 7:30 Griffin Choral Arts will present a concert in Spivey Hall on the campus of Clayton State University. The 60-voice chorus will collaborate with the Clayton State Chorale under the direction of Dr. Shaun Amos. The choirs will perform separately and will also join to perform a few selections together. This is GCA's first appearance at Spivey Hall. The repertoire for the Spivey Hall concert will include selections from GCA concerts in October 2011 ("Heavenly Light"), December 2011 ("Christmas with Griffin Choral Arts"), and March 2012 ("Masterworks: Gloria"). The concert is free and open to the public. Come and hear Griffin Choral Arts perform in the venue about which Robert Shaw proclaimed: "Spivey Hall is to music what light is to painting." |
